Implementation

Objective

Develop concepts to improve the framework conditions for the private sector through dialogue with public and private-sector actors and sustainably improve the business and investment climate by implementing solutions to the core problems identified

Tasks

  • Advise and train public and private actors in the design and implementation of relevant regulations, ordinances, standards and norms (competition law, patent law, trademark law) at national and regional level.
  • Advise on the development and implementation of demand-oriented, client-financed services for the private sector.
  • Advise on the organisation and structural set-up of institutions to represent private-sector interests.
  • Network relevant stakeholders (state and private) to devise a strategy for national-level business promotion together with pertinent proposals for implementation (Public-Private Dialogue).
  • Advise and moderate policy-reform processes within Public-Private Dialogue and provide organisational support to set up PPD.
  • Advise on the consolidation and set-up of research institutions in the field of business environment analysis.
